KNEEWORK ™
Knowing that no one is perfect, and all fathers need help in being better fathers, we have included “Knee Work” sections at the end of each chapter. These are areas which Dads can commit to prayer, and ask God to help them in areas they need improvement.
A POUNDABLE MOMENT ™
This is a precious moment shared between a Daddy and his child when they agree that something is not just “good”, but “great” or “cool”, or whatever the current youth vernacular or slang is for something “fantastic”. These are also activities that will help men and their children apply the material found in the chapter together.
A ROD OF CORRECTION MOMENT ™
We believe that Dads need to also establish and maintain loving boundaries for their children. Discipline for breaching these boundaries of acceptable behavior can come in the form of a “time out”, a stern lecture, and restriction from activities and use of electronics / computers (grounding). We believe in no uncertain terms that CORPORAL PUNISHMENT (SPANKING) IS THE VERY LAST RESORT in discipline.
A D.T.L is a "Daddy That Looks™.
It is our greatest hope and desire for all fathers,blded-family fathers figures and mentors, that they become D.T.L's™. To assist in this endeavor we have created D.T.L Moments.
